From April 14-15, the Horasis China Meeting in Binh Duong will play a proactive role in the trade and investment relations between Vietnam and China.

Some 300 global leaders in business and government will gather to engage in discussions that revolve around the theme of the state of entrepreneurship and joint innovation projects.

Over the course of the two-day conference discussions will be held on topics such as the economics of going green, the role of entrepreneurship, and more.

It has also been announced that Dr. Jonathan Choi, one of China’s best known entrepreneurs, will Co-Chair the Horasis China Meeting.

Dr. Jonathan Choi is Chairman of the Hong Kong-based Sunwah Group, Chairman of the Sunwah Hi-Tech Group and the Sunwah Media Group, Chairman of the Toronto-listed Sunwah International Limited, Chairman of the Hong Kong-listed Sunwah Kingsway Capital Group and Chairman of the Vietnam VinaCapital.

He also holds a number of public positions including Standing Committee Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of the PRC, and Standing Committee Member of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, in addition to others.

Dr. Jonathan Choi is also a Court or Council Member of a number of universities including the Fudan University, the Nanjing University, the United College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the University of Macau.

The Horasis China Meeting is one of four annual meetings put on by Horasis, which also includes the Horasis Global Meeting, the Horasis India Meeting, and the Horasis Asia Meeting.

Chairman Dr. Frank-Jürgen Richter founded the organization behind the conference in 2005.

“Horasis was founded on the principle that tackling the world’s most pressing economic, social, and political issues necessitates productive dialogue and collective collaboration,” said Dr. Richter.

As someone who advises world leaders in business, politics, and academia, the organization’s Chairman spends 80% of the year traveling the world, creating long-term relationships with global policymakers that have the power and influence to transform society.

The 2024 Horasis China Meeting is co-hosted by the Southern Vietnamese Province Binh Duong and the China Federation of Industrial Economics.
