The iconic TNW Conference is all set to return to Amsterdam on 19 and 20 of June.

This time around, thousands of startup founders, investors and technology thought leaders — including executives from companies like Philips, Sequoia Capital, KLM, and Hugging Face — will converge on The Netherlands’ capital.

Under the banner of “Big Problems, Bold Solutions, and Business Impact,” the conference will explore a number of themes including examining the future of Europe’s startup ecosystem, which holds an estimated value of around $3 trillion, according to Startup Genome.

The event will also tackle themes related to corporate and enterprise innovation, including navigating compliance issues, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, cybersecurity as well as pushing for disruption within massive organizations.

The conference is also a platform to highlight some of the latest in technology trends, as well as the technology that has still not yet been released publicly.

With rising tensions across Europe due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the conference will also tackle the topical theme of defense technology, cybersecurity and encryption, as well as innovations in combating misinformation and other security threats.

Some of today’s brightest minds will grace the stages of this year’s TNW Conference. Speakers include Julien Bek, Partner at Sequoia Capital, Shez Partovi, Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer at Philips, Vidya Peters, CEO at Datasnipper, Sarah Barber, CEO at Jenson Funding Partners, James Landay, Co-Founder and Co-Director at Stanford Institute for Human-centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) and Thomas Wolf, co-founder of Hugging Face.

Bringing a bit of an entertainment quotient to the festivities, the event will also feature presentations from former Red Bull team F1 Driver Robert Doornbos, as well as Pernilla Sjöholm, who was the subject of the Netflix documentary “The Tinder Swindler” and has since become an advocate for fraud awareness and financial security.

Other notable speakers include Seth Dobrin, General Partner at 1infinity Ventures and Dr Jan Philipp Wintjes, Executive Vice President of Global Omnichannel at Hugo Boss.

In a recent article published on TNW’s news website, Editor Thomas Macaulay wrote that at the upcoming event, Peter Wennink, the former CEO of Dutch chip-making giant ASML, will unveil his “vision of a new era of innovation” for the deeptech space.

“He believes the next wave of deep tech will unlock possibilities that are hard to imagine,” wrote Macaulay, referring to Wennink. “They may require challenging paths from lab to market, deep domain expertise, and patient capital — but the payoffs will be truly transformative.”

TNW is offering discounted tickets in celebration of King’s Day until April 28. Passes start at around 595 euro and are available on the organizer’s website
