EDMDesigner: Responsive Email Design made Simple

Having trouble designing newsletters that can be read easily in mobile devices? Or are you just having a lot of trouble with coding the design of your newsletters? The team behind EDMDesigner has taken care of it for good!

EDMDesigner is a startup company with a developing team settled in Budapest, Hungary who is focused on helping companies deliver compelling and beautifully designed newsletters that are compatible with a wide range of interfaces and devices. The design interface is extremely user friendly providing an easy design experience for beginners and experienced users alike.

As their website describes: EDMDesigner is a simple and easy to use ‘drag & drop’ email editor that will help you create responsive email templates in minutes while simultaneously avoiding all the confusing, tiresome, and expensive HTML coding. Users can choose from pre-made templates or start from scratch.

As a service provider, EDMDesigner focuses on the end-product and the reader to ensure an experience that will leave their clients satisfied with the results. In the end, this creates win-win-win situations where all three parties involved in the experience are happy.

Current users and clients of the interface vary from single people and small businesses to global companies like Ralph Lauren (APAC) and Adestra.com (UK’s leading email service provider).

The idea for this project was born when, during a train ride in 2012, Roland Pokornyik (CEO and Founder of the project) realized that reading newsletters and marketing emails through his phone was actually very difficult. Having years of experience on marketing and designing the content for newsletters, he decided it was time to create a program that would tackle this issue. Within 2-3 months, Pokornyik already had been able to put a small team together to work on the project.

The developing of the program began in early 2013 and in September, the company had been financed by: iCatapult Business Development Ltd. – a Hungarian mini VC which aims to help Hungarian startups go global. The company’s current goal is to “replace old fashioned email coding with a flexible email editor, which is available for anybody on the planet and beyond.”
