Startup Sesame is a program supporting startups looking to develop cross-border connections and to grow their business internationally. By way of 2 call for entries per year, startups may be selected as “Sesamer” and take part in the program. They get premium access to Tech events, visibility, guidance and mentoring sessions with a pool of international experts.
With the creation of its first specialized program on mobility, Startup Sesame supports high potential companies that are devoted to shaping the future of global transportation.
Startup Sesame, the first alliance of Tech events in Europe, is launching a specific program dedicated to mobility and transportation startups: Startup Sesame Mobility. Startups interested in the program have until September 3rd to apply.
Startup Sesame Mobility provides entrepreneurs with mentoring and access to Startup Sesame partners Slush, Pioneers Festival and Mondial de l’Automobile (Paris Motor Show), the largest event for mobility and transportation in the world. The annual program trains founders in event strategy, B2B networking and connect them with a network of events and mentors such as Bindi Karia, Julie Mossler (Waze), Pierre-Eric Leibovici (Daphni), Ethan Pierse (Nest VC) and Kat Borlongan (FiveByFive).
Startup Sesame will select 8 finalists and host a pitching session during the first Innovation Forum to take place at the Mondial de l’Automobile (Paris Motor Show), in Paris, October 5th. A Jury of international experts will then select 3 winners who will enter Startup Sesame Mobility.
The Mondial Innovation Forum is a new invitation-only conference focused on the future of the car industry that brings together 300 decision makers, industry innovators and startup founders. Bibop Gresta, Co-Founder & COO of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, will be speaking and judging at the event:
“The Mondial de l’Automobile is the biggest car show in the world and its Innovation Forum will set a turning point for the industry. We’re excited to explore opportunities for partnerships and further innovation as we enter the age of Hyperloop. I’m thrilled to take part in the inaugural edition and look forward to meeting with innovators and leaders who are shaping the future of transportation.”
Startup Sesame Mobility is open to any startup regardless of its location. Eligible companies should have a functional beta, a solid team and be looking for international growth or fundraising.
